About this website

The Think Pool | About our site · How we made it, who helped

At The Think Pool, we strongly believe that a website is the product of the collective contributions from various open-source projects and creators. This page is dedicated to recognizing and expressing gratitude to the talented creatives and exceptional projects that have played a vital role in bringing this website to life.

The Think Pool built this website with the Hugo framework and the Congo theme. Hugo framework is renowned for generating lightweight and static websites, which translates to faster load times and eliminates the need for database queries. In other words, it enhances usability and improves search engine rankings.

Both Hugo and Congo are brilliant open-source projects that also contribute to reducing carbon footprint. The homepage of this website, for instance, produces only around 0.04g of CO2 per page view, which is not only beneficial for our planet but also surpasses 96% of the pages tested on the Website Carbon Calculator. Additionally, we utilize a green hosting provider to further minimize our CO2 emissions.
